anyone else have a love/hate with social networking? one second i’ll be writing pages and pages about my opinions and things that matter and the next i’m erasing all of it and reblogging cartoons.

…good to know I’m not the only one lol

This is one of the most passionate emotional songs I have ever heard. Its impossible to listen to it too many times. I think this song speaks to loudly because it’s the story of so many people. This guy is singing for all the people who have gone or are going through this, and its just beautiful raw unhindered emotion that captures peoples attention.

beauty pageants are the dumbest things ever.

who has a contest about who can wear a fake tan, fake hair, and fake everything else the best? Whatever happened to natural beauty? How can we even call a fake dolled up woman with fake hair and orange skin beautiful? It’s so stupid.

^-^

I got accepted to eastern! wooooohooooo!

So happy that it’s set in stone.

Lets get this degree done.

I wanna marry my man already lol

You wouldn’t give a breastfeeding photo to grandma.

I’m totally a fan of breast feeding your baby, but what the heck is up with all these photos of women posing with their babies like its time for a freakin photo shoot- no one is gunna hang that on their wall ( some nice family photo- lets give it to grandma…no). It’s all way too sexual to me, gives me weird feelings like they are using their babies as a prop in a porn to delight freaks who like this kind of crap. Freakin weird.

religion

Why is Religion considered such a taboo? We live in a world full of sex, violence, drugs and profanity but that’s all cool…as long as we don’t use the dreaded “R” word.

Although I do like this quote to an extent there are also biases in it where the author puts his/her own view in it implying that sex, violence, drugs, and profanity are wrong, while other people may not share those same views. I understand where the author is coming from basically saying everyone is okay with the following lifestyles but religion isn’t accepted.

My thoughts are kind of 50/50 on this because if religion weren’t accepted there wouldn’t be massive world religions. Not everyone is going to like a said religion thats why there are so many different ones, but to say that religion in and of its self is not accepted is inaccurate.

On the other hand if we compare “non religious” people who live the lifestyle as discribed above in the quote and a religious person then their will probably be some tension between the two, just as their is between a person who is an avid believer in evolution, and one who attributes everything to having a creator. Not that their should be this tension but more often then not it is created from such strong opposing views.

So basically after analyzing this quote I don’t really like it as much as I did initially. Religion may not be accepted by everyone but it doesn’t mean it is not accepted in society.

Religion simply said is a way of living your life, even “non religious” people have morals and a code that they live by which makes them religious. It doesn’t have to be institutionalized, all religions started off small and usually by one person, making the way one person views the world, purpose, how they act - a religion to themselves.

So they author of this quote didn’t really think this one through, but thats what I get for searching for Jediism over tumblr lol.
